DKDive.com

From non-diver to tech / dive master

The writer of this week's Scuba Blog Review is quite new to diving, having started in 2005. He has apparently been diving very actively the whole time to date. Way to Go!!

The writer of DKDive.com, Stefan, blogs quite regularly, with several posts every month. I can honestly only review the newer posts that are written in English. The older ones are in Danish, and the little Swedish that I know is almost, but not quite enough for me to really get a grasp of what the blogger is saying. SO, a review taking into consideration only the newer posts:

The blog posts are very short, some only a few sentences long. Stefan writes about his personal diving experiences and his dive training. Many of the posts, especially those about new gear, would benefit a lot from a more in-depth perspective. I would find it more useful to read comments, user experiences and opinions about the gear, not just mentions that the writer has them.

I really like how the blogger has labeled the topics of the posts with different logos, so that it is very clear what the post is going to be about, even before you start reading the actual text. Very clever! The posts are also numbered, which makes things just that little bit easier for the reader.

Another big plus for me is the appearance of the site. Very neat and tidy, looks professional. Easy to navigate. On a negative side, I really would like to read longer, more in-depth texts. not really long, just so that there is room for some useful content in the text. Keep on diving, Stefan, and keep on blogging!

I hope you enjoyed reading this review! If you did, please share this with your friends and fellow divers. Any comments are also very welcome. And if you know a scuba blog that would deserve reviewing, please let me know. Just leave a comment below! See you again next week, with a new Scuba Blog Review.

Just a reminder, here is a link to my own dive blog, take a look if you still have a minute or two to spare.
