Mike Clark's Dive Blog

Mike Clark's Dive Blog

I have spent this Easter weekend reading the dive blog of photographer Mike Clark. He has been diving since (wow!) 1985 and blogging very actively since 2008. Mike Clark has also written a book called Wrecks & Reefs of Southeast Scotland, which he sells online.

Doppler's Tech Diving Blog

This week I have reviewed Doppler's Tech Diving Blog. It is a dive blog by a professional diver, dive instructor, and industry consultant Steve Lewis. He has been diving for twenty years and has thousands of dives under his belt. The man has also written two books on diving. I guess he knows something about the subject. He has had the blog since 2008, writing about once a month.

divewithmia.com

This week I am reviewing divewithmia.com. It is a dive blog written by mia Toose, a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer from Canada. She has been diving since 2001, and the oldest blog posts in this blog are from 2011. So she's a pro diver, and she also designs and sells women's wet suits!

Dive With Mia has made the Top 25 Best Scuba Diving Blogs list made by the Adventure Junkies. While that is undoubtedly a merit, the list focuses on metrics, search engine rankings and SEO, not actual content of the blogs. So here's my little attempt to correct that.

Vance's DivebLog

This is my very first dive blog review, hopefully the start of a long line of reviews to come. In the future I will try hard to publish reviews here weekly. So here goes, the beginning of a brand new blog!

The topic this week is Vance's Dive bLogs. This dive blog is Vance Stevens's personal dive log published, written pretty much like a diary. The style of the blog is very personal, and Vance talks about his own diving experiences. This may sometimes give the appearance that the blog is aimed at the writer's friends. Not that that's a bad thing in any way.
